Bad Blogger & Halloween Loots

I know, I've been horrible... but seriously, I think the Muse went on vacation, and I'm getting ready to go on mine. Work has been weird, not so much as hectic as tons of random things happens at the same time. Otherwise, I have no good excuse.

To make that up, I've decied to do 2 Halloween Loots.

Loot #1:

It has:
11 Mini Clear Stamp Sets
3 Beyond Postmarks Embellishment Sets
1 Black & White Flowers Embellishment Set
1 Momento Dew Drop Ink (Blue)
1 Making Memories Rub-on
1 Basic Grey Paper Pad

Loot #2:

1 Soft Spoken Xmas embellishment set
1 MFT Adornment set
1 Orange Doodlebug Sugarcoat Glitter
1 Purple Doodlebug Sugarcoat Glitter
1 Damask Heidi Swapp Stamp
1 DCWV Fall Alphabet Stickers
1 Colorbok Alphabet Stickers
1 Basic Grey Paper Pad

Here's what you have to do to win. Since my muse is on vacay, tell me what inspires you. Include any links or picture. It can be a book that inspires you, an ad you've seen somewhere, a design website, or another craft site... just include what works for you.

I'll pick the winners on Wed, Novemeber 4th via Random.org.

Best of luck and Happy Halloween!

The weather inspires me, the crisp bite in a fall day and the beautiful autumn colours, the smell of snow in the air and the first look outside after a new snow fall before it gets disturbed. New leaves on trees in spring and the beauty of new flowers, the sound of birds early in the morning in summer before the day gets hot. I even love the odd rainy day where you just want to settle in with all the craft supplies. Thank you for the opportunity for blog candy.

I am inspired by many things. The most inspiring are random thoughts (seriously, what would the color 9 smell like?), a glimpse down a sidestreet at a vingette after a rain, new season smells, a sign you haven't noticed before, puddles after a hard freeze. Shapes inspire me - if I've been stuck in square land, rounded edges are suddenly fresh and appealing. Thanks for a chance at your blog candy, and for a moment to think! ~ky

Hi there,

To be honest the things that inspire me the most are other peoples work and the challenges that I partake in. Also sometimes I may buy a stamp and a challenge will come up and I think yes I can use that stamp now and it will work perfectly.
Your candy is very generous and I have put a link on my sidebar for you.

Other people inspire me. I will look at their blogs and that will give me inspiration to make something. I love making cards and giving them to other people. They will say "You made this that was very nice". Thanks for a chance to win that was very nice of you.

I'd have to say SCS is my inspiration....

My inspiration is SCS and other stampers - the same colors or stamps can lead to so many different visions... how can it not be inspiring! Thanks for reminding of that...

First, I look outside my large picture window and take a good look around me. Then I look at some of my old work and see how far I have come and sometimes just even re-work the old stuff and that can really get me going. If all else fails I go to SCS and literally case a couple of items and that usually works. Thanks for the chance to win some wonderful blog candy. Have a great Halloween and hope you find your muse.

I love crafting magazines! If I am in a rut, I scan through one to "copy" and make something from one of the pages!

I am inspired by stamping blogs and the wonderful artists who share them! When I see others being creative it sparks me (well usually!)to join in and create something- even if it is a mess! My two other major inspirations are vintage "junque" and paper. I look at both of these things and find the possibilities are endless. I do have a tendency to create more in my mind than in the real form but someday I will have time to get it all done....

I am inspired by nature around me. Right now it is all the fall colors you see everywhere...the oranges, browns, golds, greens, etc. It's my favorite season and I love the fall color combos.

I love seeing the creativity of others - in books, online, or at a craft show. After viewing a lot, I want to rush home and start making things myself.

My favourite place to go for inspiration on the internet has to be splitcoaststampers and of course the many wonderful blogs I subscribe to. I always save any ideas into a word document and when I feel I need inspiration any time, I choose a day of saved ideas and print out those that inspire me on the day. These I then place into plastic sleeves and they go into a loose leaf folder to be able to flip through any time later on. I can't tell you have many folders I now have but they are all full of heaps of inspiration for one reasonor another.

Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy.

I have been inspired by new surroundings. I will find a neat color combo, or a new geometric pattern that is really cool and try to use it in a card layout or a scrapbook page. I have a friend whom I speak with often, and when I ask her what she is up to and she replies "scrapbooking" I go up into my craftroom to see what I can create. Thanks for this opportunity! Happy Halloween!

I have often been inspired by fabric prints. Some of them can be beautiful. I just discovered your blog and love your ideas.

I see that many of the commenters here go to Splitcoast Stampers for inspiration. I do too, but now I just hope from blog to blog that I have on my Google Reader and invariably get inspired by all the creative crafters out there! Sometimes just having other people come and craft with me helps my inspiration as we give each other ideas!! Thanks for the chance to win some great blog candy.

I am inspired by the girls that I teach at a local high school. They never run out of energy or enthusiasm and when I am stuck, I will sometimes throw a random question at them like: What colour combination is exciting? They never dissapoint me.

I am inspired by all the talent I've found on the web. Fabulous people who just want to make cards and make people happy. I don't have one single person, there are so so many!

I'll play! Sketches and DP! Hence my neverending stash (and excuses that I just have to have more paper) and all those sketches I link to on my blog. I would die without 'em!
